A very nice, thought provoking speech. Things do not seem to have changed since 1972 till 2010! Probably have worsened.

Great scholarly speech by a great actor .How true his words are even today.He has commented about our slavish mentality pointing 25th year of independence.Nothing have changed. Seeing present conditions of country I can say even after 100 years we will be same JAHIL, corrupt,cast-creed-language divided GORE KE GULAM.I have picked only one of his point.A whole essay can be written on this brilliant speech.Balraj sahab made all his points with heart hitting examples.
I think this speech is a must read for all rational,independent,free thinking and cultured persons.
